In the pharmaceutical industry, the requirements for filtration are extremely high. The only way to meet these is through a GMP-compliant design, a high surface quality and, last but not least, a flexible configuration of the filter area and volume. One special field of application is blood plasma fractionation to extract proteins from human blood plasma. Closed filtration systems such as the HERMETIX P or the HERMETIX S are used for this. Such deep-bed filtration systems from the HERMETIX series are also used in other pharmaceutical production processes as well. Any drop would be a loss.
