Our HERMETIX series
The HERMETIX is a closed filtration system designed for the special requirements of the chemical, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries. The filter frame consists of a front fixed cover and two supporting rods connected to the crosshead. It functions as a pressure filter with vertically arranged filter plates and filter frames. Filter aids are arranged between the individual filter plates, which also act as a seal through pressure towards the outside. The plate pack is pressed and sealed by the movable cover.
A closed system
The closed multilayer filter uses deep-bed filter sheets for filtration. The filter plates are sealed by circumferential O-ring gaskets on the filter plates and by the internal filter sheets. A gasket integrated in the filter frame is possible as an alternative. This results in a 100 percent seal without leakage, which means that the product does not come into contact with its surroundings. The distinguishing features of this system are its easy handling and CIP cleaning capability. The required filter area can be flexibly adjusted by the size and number of filter plates. A wide range of filter aids enables reliable separation of solids or microorganisms.
